The YWCA of Greater Los Angeles is the lead agency for the Los Angeles Bridges Program at John Muir Middle School. The YWCA contracts with numerous collaborating agencies to provide comprehensive services to at risk youth and their families. The purpose of the program is to provide positive alternatives to gang membership, gang violence, encourage and develop positive behaviors, and strengthen the family unit.
