Women’s Empowerment programs promote self-sufficiency, economic
literacy, and parenting. Specifically, the YWCA’s goal is to provide adult
women with a place they can turn to for answers. As such, we offer the
following activities for women:

• Persian Ladies Club for Seniors
  (held at the Felicia Mahood Senior Center in West Los Angeles) - offers exercise, citizenship classes, cultural trips, celebrations, health seminars and screenings, book club, Farsi and ESL classes as well as arts and crafts.
