Union Pacific Empowerment Center
Endowment Campaign
Proceeds from the YWCA UPEC endowment campaign will be placed in an endowment fund, the income from which will be used by the organization to meet ongoing expenses, cover capital expenditures, or fund special projects and programs. Endowment – Goal $3 million over the next five years.

Recognition Programs
Named Gifts
Many of the YWCA facilities will be honored with the privilege of bearing the name or our most generous supporters. For a list of available opportunities, please contact Tracy Clark at tracy.clark@ywcagla.org or call (213) 365-2991.
Donors who give at a certain gift level will receive lifetime recognition on the Donor Wall. Events and intimate gatherings of the various communities will allow YWCA Leaders to personally thank our donors.
Anonymous Donations
The YWCA Greater Los Angeles welcomes donors who wish to remain anonymous in their giving. We will respect your desire to remain anonymous in your support of the campaign.
Community Celebrations
At momentous occasions during the life of the campaign, we will hold community celebrations to thank our donors.
A Variety of Gifts Accepted
Gifts to the campaign can be made through many means and vehicles. The YWCA Greater Los Angeles will accept gifts of cash, credit, securities, property, insurance, and planned giving instruments. Our Development Team desires to assist you to find the most strategic way to support the campaign. In addition, the YWCA Greater Los Angeles has a network of professional advisors who are pleased to assist with planned and complex gifts.
Tax Deductible
As a not-for-profit 501c3 organization, all gifts to YWCA Greater Los Angeles are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Pledges
Pledges to the campaign can be made over three to five years. Pledges are consummated through a Statement of Intent signed by the donor.
Memorial or Tribute Gifts
Gifts in memory of or in tribute to loved ones are welcomed by the YWCA Greater Los Angeles. The Development Team will be honored to work with you on the heartfelt recognition of such gifts.
