Announcing the 2012 Phenomenal Women Awards Luncheon

The YWCA Greater Los Angeles announces the 10th annual Phenomenal Women Awards Luncheon on May 16, 2012 presented by Union Bank and Edison International. This worthy event empowers local businesses by giving them the opportunity to recognize and highlight star employees.

"This luncheon is a ‘win win' opportunity for local businesses," explains Tracy Clark, YWCA GLA Director of Development. "We know companies desire the best out of their employees. By honoring outstanding staff efforts through this venue, our partners communicate their appreciation for their employees as well as their commitment to the betterment of the community."

This event not only fulfills an important aspect of showing appreciation to staff but it also allows sponsoring partners to embrace philanthropy since proceeds from the event go to support the YWCA GLA programs.

"This year we are especially focusing on the heart of the Phenomenal Women Awards Luncheon by offering even greater benefits for companies and local businesses that join us in honoring their staff," continues Clark. "Among many other perks, sponsors receive a full page in the event book to recognize their trailblazers and star employees."

Partners from the 2011 Phenomenal Women Awards Luncheon included the following: AEG, Clear Channel Communications, LA Confidential, LA Times, JPMorgan Chase, PCL Construction, Southern California Gas Company, DLA Piper, Century Housing, UPS, Unisource Solutions, Green Hasson & Janks LLP and JGM.
