What we provide

Designed to foster a sense of community, reduce isolation, and enrich lives, our Senior Empowerment Centers offer a friendly and welcoming space to celebrate healthy aging.

Daily classes include line dancing, chair yoga, and bailoterapia (therapeutic dance). We offer learning sessions focused on nutritional, financial, and digital literacy, and social circles such as crochet, jigsaw, and Lotería clubs. Seniors can also contribute to their communities with volunteer opportunities that allow them to use their experience and expertise. Reflecting the diverse backgrounds of our participants, all activities are designed to be culturally responsive.

Connect with your community

As you age, maintaining your independence and enhancing your quality of life become critical goals. Our Senior Empowerment Programs provide you with the tools necessary to promote your overall well-being. Forge new friendships as you embark on the next chapter of your life and enjoy continuing education opportunities that keep you engaged in your community.

Activities for Seniors

“Food preparation is a life skill and supports math, science, language, social, emotional, and cognitive development, as well as fine motor skills. Ms. Crystal instructed the students on how to prepare their own parfait for them to eat for an afternoon snack. Children of all ages participated and seemed to love cooking.”
